At IndPDF, your documents and your privacy come first. This page explains how we handle your files and what limited information we process when you use our PDF tools.
1. Document Security & Processing
When you upload a file to IndPDF, it is transferred using HTTPS (encrypted connection) between your device and our servers. Your file is processed only for the purpose of providing the selected tool (for example: convert, merge, compress or split).
To deliver the result, your input and output files are stored temporarily and are made available to you for download. Our system follows a clear single-download policy: as soon as your first download is successful, both the uploaded file and the converted file are deleted from our active storage.
2. No Long-Term File Storage
IndPDF does not use your documents for any purpose other than completing the requested PDF operation. We do not keep your PDF content for long-term storage, we do not build a document history, and we do not manually review your files for advertising or profiling.
Files are kept only for the short technical period required to:
- Process your request (conversion, compression, etc.).
- Allow you to perform your first download of the result.
After that first download is completed, both the original and processed files are automatically removed from our storage.
3. Minimal Technical Logs
To keep the service reliable and secure, our systems may record limited technical information such as:
- IP address and browser type used to access the site.
- Dates and times of requests.
- Error messages and basic performance metrics.
These logs are used only for debugging, security monitoring and improving the service. We do not attach these logs to the contents of your documents, and we do not use them to create marketing profiles. Logs are retained only for as long as needed for security and maintenance purposes.
4. Cookies & Analytics
IndPDF may use essential cookies that are required for the website to function correctly (for example, remembering your tool selection or basic preferences).
At present, we do not rely on heavy tracking or behavioural profiling. If we introduce analytics or advertising technologies (such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense) in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to clearly describe what data is collected and how you can control it.
5. Where Your Data Is Processed
IndPDF is developed and operated from India, and our infrastructure is currently hosted there. However, the service is available to users around the world through a standard web browser.
By using IndPDF, you understand that your information may be processed in India in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of the country from which you access the service.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party providers for hosting, error monitoring, security or email delivery. These providers are required to follow appropriate security measures and are not allowed to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
We do not sell or rent your personal information or document contents to any third party.
7. Children’s Privacy
IndPDF is designed for general use and is not specifically targeted at children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has shared personal information with us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features or comply with new regulations. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of IndPDF after changes are posted will mean you accept the updated policy.
